As a counselor, BoJack works with Black men, youth, and communities at the intersection of identity, grief, masculinity, recovery, and faith, practicing therapy as a creative act and creativity as a form of care. He speaks and consults nationally on culturally responsive mental health, equity and inclusion, anti-racist education, and the role of the arts in liberation. His mission is to widen the vocabulary available to Black men, to help the silence become a sentence, and to keep arriving, page by page, room by room, until the boys behind him have a wider sky to stand under.
